John Lennon made a filmed appearance in Peter Cook and Dudley Moore's BBC Television show Not Only . . . But Also in which he played a uniformed nightclub doorman. The filmed location for the club was the underground gentlemen's lavatory on Broadwick Street, near Berwick Street market, Soho. John was shown wearing his new "granny" glasses.
